Offline is a normal state, not an error
Each device keeps a local copy of what you need and a durable queue of everything you change. Close the laptop, restart the phone, lose signal for a day: the queue survives and replays when you reconnect.
- Mark any folder as available offline on desktop and mobile
- Edits, renames, moves and new folders queue safely on the device
- Changes replay automatically and in order when the network returns
Changes waiting
- Edited proposal.docxWaiting
- Moved 14 photos to Site visitsWaiting
- New folder: Receipts 2027Waiting
The queue is saved on disk, so it survives restarts and dead batteries.
Delta sync: only the changed blocks move
Files are split into variable-size blocks identified by their content. When you edit a file, the apps send only the blocks that changed, so a small edit to a large file takes seconds, not minutes.
- Content-defined chunking keeps working when bytes shift inside a file
- Identical blocks are stored once inside each drive
- Uploads resume block by block after an interruption

Conflicts resolved without losing anything
When two people change the same file at the same time, both versions are kept. The newer one stays in place and the other is saved next to it as a clearly named conflicted copy.
- Every edit is checked against the version it started from
- Conflicted copies show the device and time in their name
- Full version history to compare or restore any revision
